Accessible Chemistry Tutor Survey ................................................

Quantum Simulations, Inc. is performing a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health to develop accessible advanced tutoring software for science. The goal of the present research is to bring the full power and benefit of the cutting-edge new educational technology contained within the Quantum artificial intelligence tutoring systems to students who are blind and visually impaired using Internet-capable screen access technology. If successful, an immediate outcome will be the first-ever artificial intelligence tutoring systems that are accessible to blind students.

The survey below is being distributed to instructors of visually impaired students by the American Printing House for the Blind as part of the research study. The purpose of this survey is to begin gathering much-needed information from the community of instructors of the visually impaired to inform the efforts and decisions of the project's researchers, and your participation will help to ensure the resulting accessible instructional software is of the highest quality.
